These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Olde Tyme Health Bible App, including its Scripture library, research materials, study tools, references, historical writings, annotations, subscription features, and related services.
The app is operated by Olde Tyme Health LLC, referred to in these Terms as “Olde Tyme Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Purpose of the App
The Olde Tyme Health Bible App provides educational and religious study resources. Features may include: Scripture reading and navigation; biblical research and study materials; historical and extra-biblical writings; cross-references and topic collections; search and study tools; original notes, commentary, and curated research; and free and subscriber-only content. The app is intended to support personal study and education. It is not intended to replace Scripture itself, personal discernment, consultation with qualified clergy, or other appropriate professional guidance.
2. Free and Paid Access
Certain portions of the app may be available without payment. Other features and materials require an active Full Access subscription. Paid content may include expanded research, complete topic libraries, historical writings, advanced search tools, cross-references, original notes, and other premium features. We may add, remove, reorganize, or update free and paid features as the app develops. We will not charge you merely because a feature is moved or changed. Any purchase must be authorized through the applicable app store.
3. Full Access Subscription
Full Access is offered as a recurring monthly subscription. The exact subscription price will be displayed in the app before you confirm your purchase. Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, app store, or future pricing changes. By purchasing Full Access, you authorize the applicable app store to charge the displayed subscription price to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each monthly billing period unless it is canceled before the renewal date. Payment processing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and applicable taxes are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where the subscription was purchased.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app store account that was used to make the purchase. For subscriptions purchased through Google Play, cancellation is managed through your Google Play subscription settings. For subscriptions purchased through Apple, cancellation is managed through your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Unless otherwise required by law or the applicable app store’s policies, cancellation stops future renewals. You will ordinarily retain Full Access until the end of the billing period for which payment has already been made. Apple and Google provide their own subscription-management and cancellation systems.
5. Restore Purchases
The app may provide a Restore Purchases option. This feature allows a user to restore an eligible subscription previously purchased through the same Apple or Google account. Restoration depends on information supplied by the applicable app store and our subscription-service provider. A purchase made through one app-store ecosystem may not automatically transfer to another ecosystem.
6. Refunds
Subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google rather than directly by Olde Tyme Health. Refund requests are generally governed by the policies of the app store through which the purchase was made. We cannot guarantee that Apple or Google will approve a refund. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer-protection right that cannot legally be waived.
7. Educational and Religious Information
The app contains religious, historical, linguistic, theological, interpretive, and educational material. Some materials may discuss disputed translations, historical theories, noncanonical writings, archaeology, doctrinal interpretations, or differing scholarly views. We do not guarantee that every user, denomination, scholar, religious organization, or other authority will agree with every interpretation presented. The inclusion of a historical text, external writing, quotation, theory, or viewpoint does not necessarily mean that Olde Tyme Health endorses every statement contained in that source. Users are encouraged to examine sources, compare translations, review context, and exercise personal discernment.
8. No Medical or Professional Advice
Although the app is published under the Olde Tyme Health name, the Bible app is primarily an educational and religious-study resource. Nothing in the app constitutes medical diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice, financial advice, mental-health treatment, or another licensed professional service. Do not delay or disregard qualified professional care because of information presented in the app.
